Thank you for considering Glamorous Occasions products and services. In order to assist you better while you are evaluating potential vendors, I hope you will take a few minutes to review the following commonly asked questions.
How long have you been doing what you do and how did you get started?
Glamorous Occasions is entering into the 4th year of business in Flagstaff. Prior to opening this business, I had many years of experience in the floral business as a result of my family's floral shop in New Mexico. I have always had a love of flowers and design, but just didn't enjoy the day-to-day operations of a regular floral shop. So, when I decided to venture out on my own, I decided to focus on the aspects of the business that bring me the most enjoyment. And that is why Glamorous Occasions is focused solely on weddings and special events. In this business, I feel truly blessed to be a part of so many of life's special celebrations. I still get so much joy from delivering a beautiful bridal bouquet to a Bride, or just by seeing all the smiling people on the dance floor. . . .and that is how I know I have chosen the right profession.
We love your services and your portfolio, so can you tell me what sets you apart from the other florists and planners?
Well, most importantly, we are not a neighborhood floral shop and we are not just another wedding planner; we are some combination of the two and so much more. Our business is entirely focused on the planning and design of weddings and special events. We partner with you and coach you throughout all aspects of the planning and design process, so that your special day is sure to exceed your wildest expectations. We have the very best resources at our disposal and know exactly how to execute any special requests you might have. And with us, you will always receive the VIP treatment; starting with your very first consultation in our beautifully appointed design studio. At Glamorous Occasions, we understand that planning a wedding is one of the most exciting times in your life, and it is important to us that you enjoy every minute of the process!
This all sounds wonderful but it also sounds expensive, I am not sure I will be able to afford you?
Don't stress, we have many different options for working with us. From all inclusive packages, to our a-la-carte services, I am confident that you will find an option that will suit your needs.
Who do you work best with?
Our services seem to be best fitted for the Bride who is becoming stressed or having difficulty with the wedding planning and design process, or has just not found the quality and style that she is looking for. Also, destination Brides find great value in our services because of the challenges involved in trying to plan a wedding from out of town or out of state. If you are excited about planning your wedding and really want to enjoy the process, then rest assured Glamorous Occasions is the right fit for you.
Who is not going to benefit from your services?
Honestly, the Bride who is only price shopping and is looking for the lowest price, regardless of quality, style, or design and does not place any value on the planning experience may not be the best fit for our services.
Will I lose control of my wedding if you are planning or designing it for me?
Absolutely not. We work with you every step of the way to develop your personal style and vision. It is our job to make sure the occasion is unique and personalized to you in every way possible.
Will you work with vendors I have already selected or really want to work with?
Although we do have a preferred list of fantastic vendors, we will happily work with any vendor that you feel is the best fit for you.
Do you take credit cards and do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, we do accept credit cards and offer flexible payments plans.
Do you take more than one wedding per day?
We do not accept more than one wedding booking per day. As a result, it is important to reserve your date on our calendar as soon as you can.
I live out of town and I might not be able to come in for a personal consultation, can you still help me?
Yes, in fact many of our clients are in the same situation. We do offer complimentary phone consultations. (schedule yours here) And, should you decide to work with us, we will gladly help you through the planning process by phone and email communications. For a more personal experience, we also offer video calls via Skype.
